Quest Reset Costs
You can manually reset daily quest slots to farm additional Gardener Seed Packs. Each slot has a fixed Shilling cost that increases as you move through the six available slots. The cost resets back to Slot 1 pricing after the natural 24-hour daily reset occurs, so plan your resets around your Shilling budget and the current weather conditions.
| Slot | Reset Cost | Cumulative Total | Worth It? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slot 1 | 50,000 Shillings | 50,000 | ✓ Always |
| Slot 2 | 100,000 Shillings | 150,000 | ✓ Always |
| Slot 3 | 150,000 Shillings | 300,000 | ✓ Recommended |
| Slot 4 | 200,000 Shillings | 500,000 | ~ Mid-game+ |
| Slot 5 | 250,000 Shillings | 750,000 | ~ End-game |
| Slot 6 | 350,000 Shillings | 1,100,000 | ✗ Expensive |
Seed Pack Farming Strategy
Efficient seed pack farming is the fastest way to build a collection of high-value seeds in Garden Horizons. The core loop revolves around completing daily quests, resetting the cheapest slots, and timing your farming sessions around profitable weather events. Here is the recommended approach for each stage of the game.
Early Game (Under 500k Shillings)
Focus on completing all daily and weekly quests without resetting. Every Gardener Seed Pack matters at this stage. Plant everything you get and sell during weather events to build your Shilling balance. Do not spend on resets until you have a comfortable buffer above 500,000 Shillings.
Mid Game (500k – 2M Shillings)
Start resetting Slots 1 through 3 daily. The combined cost of 300,000 Shillings gives you three extra Gardener Seed Packs per day. Prioritize planting Rare seeds from these packs during Rain or Snow weather for mutation stacking. Save your Dawn Seed Pack pulls for when you have enough pity progress to be close to a guaranteed Legendary.
End Game (2M+ Shillings)
Reset all six slots daily if your income supports it. At this stage, the 1.1 million Shilling total cost is recoverable from a single good Lush harvest with mutations. The goal shifts from Shilling profit to seed collection completion and chasing Legendary variants. Time your resets around Starfall events for maximum value from the seeds you pull.
Dawn Seed Pack Pity System
The Dawn Seed Pack includes a built-in pity system designed to prevent extremely long dry streaks without a Legendary seed. After opening a certain number of Dawn Seed Packs without pulling a Legendary, the pity counter guarantees your next pull will be Legendary. When the pity system triggers, a special gold animation plays on the pack opening screen to signal the guaranteed drop.
How Pity Works
Each Dawn Seed Pack opened without a Legendary increases your hidden pity counter by one.
Once the counter reaches the pity threshold, your next Dawn Seed Pack is guaranteed to contain a Legendary seed.
Pulling a Legendary at any point — whether from pity or natural luck — resets the counter back to zero.
A gold animation on the pack opening screen confirms when pity has triggered, so you always know when you hit the safety net.
The pity system makes weekly quests even more valuable because every Dawn Seed Pack you open brings you closer to a guaranteed Legendary. Never skip a weekly quest — even if the Shilling reward seems low, the pity progress alone is worth the effort. Over time, consistent weekly quest completion ensures a steady flow of Legendary seeds into your garden.
